Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely implementation of our information security roadmap and carrying out remediation activities to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and expectations.

  • Develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies to protect against cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular security reviews and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate alternative means of reducing our exposure to cybersecurity loss and coordinate security roadmap initiatives.
  • Assist in finding practical and cost-effective solutions to identified or revealed information security gaps and risk issues.
  • Provide direction and guidance in the development, implementation, and communication of risk-related information security policies and standards to employees and customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide aggregated IT Security and Cybersecurity risk supervision for various high-impact areas of IT services.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with CISO functions under Enterprise Risk Management and Operational Risk Management.
  • Support HO IT risk teams in terms of liaison and reporting to appropriate HQ IT risk committees.
  • Maintain an external network with other InfoSec and IT Risk professionals and applicable cybersecurity and technology risk forums/bodies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or CyberSecurity, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of IT Security experience in banking or financial institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem-solving and self-management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with IT security tools and platforms.
