Job Summary:

Nicoll Curtin - Singapore is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our trading systems, applications, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Comprehensive Test Plans: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our trading systems.
  • Identify and Track Defects: Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in the software using appropriate bug-tracking tools to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with developers to understand software requirements and ensure thorough testing of the system to ensure seamless integration.
  • Develop Automated Test Scripts: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage, ensuring that our trading systems are scalable and stable.
  • Conduct Performance Testing: Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure the stability and scalability of our trading systems, ensuring that they meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that our trading systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, with a strong focus on security testing to protect our clients' interests.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably within the financial or trading industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in QA Tools: Proficiency in QA tools and methodologies, including experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or similar.
    • Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of Java and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with trading platforms and financial instruments is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
