**Healthcare Support Specialist Role Available

The role of a healthcare support specialist plays a vital part in supporting the efficient operation of our clinic. As a clinical assistant, you will be responsible for combining administrative tasks, patient interaction, and organizational responsibilities.

  • You will effectively communicate with patients, families, and visitors upon arrival and departure.
  • You will handle patient registration using our clinical software system.
  • You will dispense medications to patients, informing them of dosage and frequency, and print labels for drugs and liquid mixes.
  • You will be familiar with the preparation and dosage for different types of medications and non-medication items.
  • You will handle payments from patients using our Point of Sales system (if applicable), including printing receipts, medical certificates, and referral letters.
  • You will handle administration and documentation of lab tests, radiology, and scanning services from various vendors.
  • You will perform stock takes and inventory management.
  • You will maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • You will contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed.
  • You will handle daily billing of invoices and claims from corporate clients and insurance companies, and conduct follow-ups.
  • You will cover duties of colleagues and supervisors where required.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Clinic skills competency
  • Brief knowledge of Clinic Management System (Plato)
  • Brief knowledge of different medication and non-medication items
  • Brief knowledge of drug dispensing (e.g., dosage, calculation, frequency, drug allergy, and food interactions)
  • Brief knowledge of company services
  • Point of Sales system
  • Ability to handle billing and insurance claims as directed
  • Manage electronic and paper filing systems
