Job Summary

Our internship program at SCOR is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in our reinsurance business, focusing on actuarial analysis and modeling. As a Life Actuarial Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including reinsurance valuation and internal initiatives.


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our APAC Actuarial team in the management of divisional reserving activities for Life business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of actuarial principles and a keen interest in developing actuarial models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team in the continuous improvement of actuarial reporting processes, analyses, and controls across the macromarkets.
  • Assist in the preparation of assigned reports, including IFRS17, Solvency II, and local statutory/solvency reporting.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects, leveraging your analytical skills and knowledge of actuarial models.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong academic background in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or a related field. While prior actuarial work experience is not required, a keen interest in actuarial modeling and a strong quantitative orientation are essential.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Experience in programming is a plus.
  • Excellent team player with a keen interest in understanding and building on actuarial models.

Language Skills: Korean language skills are a bonus.
