Job Overview

A highly skilled Senior Ship Engineer Specialist is required to work on the installation, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines and auxiliary equipment on ships.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of slow speed engines, as well as experience with medium and high speed diesel engines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections, installations, repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting of diesel engines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Lead a team of technicians to achieve tasks assigned by management.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, ship owners' representatives, Class inspectors, and sub-contractors through email and phone arrangements.
  • Travel extensively as required by the job.
  • Prepare hand-written work done reports, data recorded as per format templates, and service reports with photos upon completion of jobs.
