Senior Pathology Operations Leader

Job Overview:

Seeking a senior professional to spearhead pathology operations, driving strategic initiatives that enhance service quality, efficiency, and staff development across institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainable business models to centralise resources, casemix, and workflows across institutions.
  • Drive cross-institutional collaboration, including workflow harmonisation, inter-laboratory audits, and knowledge sharing.
  • Oversee facilities and equipment upgrades, from drafting technical specifications to evaluating proposals.
  • Partner with Clinical HODs and leads to enhance service quality, efficiency, and staff development in strategic niche areas.
  • Review performance metrics to ensure long-term financial sustainability.
  • Utilise data analytics to forecast growth opportunities, streamline workflows, minimise waste, and optimise resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degrees in relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in laboratory and/or operations management.
  • Proven financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, and resource management.
  • Prior experience with biosafety management an asset.
