Cleaner - Essential for a Harmonious Student Care Center

About the Role:

  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our student care center, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for young children.
  • Ensure all areas are clean, tidy, and well-organized, including classrooms, toilets, common areas, office, reception, parents' area, windows, doors, fans, shelves, cabinet, shoe racks, cubbies, and children's tables and chairs.
  • Clean floor rugs, art and craft area, and soft covers to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Clear rubbish from classroom/office and wash dishes on a regular basis.
  • Maintain and stock-take cleaning supplies to ensure they are always available when needed.
  • Prepare simple meals when required, adhering to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality cleaning services that meet the needs of the student care center.
  2. Work effectively in a dynamic environment with young children, adapting to their needs and requirements.
  3. Maintain strong communication skills and collaborate with student care center staff to achieve shared goals.
  4. Possess physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving around the student care center.
  5. Develop and maintain a culture of excellence, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a school setting, demonstrating competence in maintaining cleanliness and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and proper cleaning techniques is essential for this position.
  • A Certificate in Food Handling and Safety is highly valued, but not a requirement.
