We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Research and Intelligence Professional. This is a full-time internship program that will last for 6 months, providing you with hands-on experience in data analysis, public relations, and marketing measurement.

About the Internship
  • You will gain exposure to various types of clients and marketing communications work.
  • You will learn how integrated communications creates value for brands.
  • You will develop skills in editorial and creative content development – for earned media, owned channels, and social media.
  • You will understand how to best conduct research and generate insights for marcomm strategies.
  • You will manage physical and virtual client events.
  • You will witness how data and intelligence can drive omni-channel communications.
  • You will have a dedicated coach to help you get the most out of your internship experience.
  • You will meet passionate communicators who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise.
  • You will get to know our fun and welcoming Edelman culture.
Your Responsibilities
  • You will participate in project coordination – independently or with support, depending on size and complexity of projects.
  • You will support research design and data collection, quality control, production, and analysis of research materials and documents.
  • You will assist project teams with general desk research.
  • You will analyze news and social media coverage for metrics, such as sentiments, influencers, spokespeople, messages communicated, outlet type, and topic.
Requirements
  • You must be a quick learner with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • You must be able to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • You must be competent in Microsoft Office.
  • You must have strong communication and writing skills.
  • You must have data and statistical knowledge.
  • You must have experience in collecting and analyzing data.
Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per annum

The estimated salary range is based on industry standards and market conditions. As a Research and Intelligence Professional, you will play a critical role in helping businesses and organizations build trusting relationships with people through authentic communications, exciting engagement, and meaningful connections.
