Job Title: Wireless Systems Expert

We are seeking a skilled Wireless Systems Expert to design and develop innovative wireless solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing embedded systems, with a strong understanding of software development principles and protocols such as Zigbee, Thread, I2C, I2S, MSPI, UART, PDM, TDM.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of firmware for wireless devices, including Bluetooth technology. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from low-power microprocessor design to wireless software development, with a focus on performance and power optimization.

You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about innovation and excellence.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent technical skills, including proficiency in C programming language, knowledge of embedded systems architecture, and experience with version control systems such as Git.

You will also need to have strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop firmware for wireless devices
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and design solutions
  • Develop unit, functional, integration and interoperability tests
  • Collaborate with validation and system test teams to triage issues and assist in communicating status to management
  • Maintain high-quality code through regular code reviews and testing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with technology, including Zigbee or Thread software debugging experience
  • Experience with Zigbee or Thread highly desired
  • Familiarity with engineering best practices: git version control, unit-tests, and continuous integration
  • Fluent in low level software debugging skills using GDB, emulators, JTAG, and more
  • Expert knowledge on performance and power optimization
  • Experience with Zephyr
  • Peripheral protocols: I2C, I2S, MSPI, UART, PDM, TDM, etc.
  • Experience with Bluetooth/BLE or RF tuning/calibration a plus
  • Strong communication skills; excellent technical communication with peers
  • Required to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts in Taiwan and China
