Audit professionals with expertise in Third Party Risk Management are sought after to oversee complex audits across the globe. As an Audit Manager, your primary focus will be on ensuring the effective management of Third Party risks and operational risk management frameworks.

Third Parties are engaged for a wide variety of goods and services to enable business operations. It is essential to manage these engagements appropriately, taking into account the underlying risks throughout the entire lifecycle – from sourcing, onboarding, vendor management to exit. This role primarily focuses on auditing Third Party risks from a group perspective and evaluating the effectiveness of our Second Line of Defence, particularly for Operational Risks.

This position involves overseeing audit teams, planning and executing audits, maintaining budgets, drafting audit programmes, identifying issues, and creating audit reports. You will also act as a team member on assigned audit work involving Third Party Risk across the Group, supporting the Team Leader/Team Manager by executing audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting to meet quality standards and timelines.

The scope of audit work must address key risks identified in risk assessments and audit planning, meeting regulatory requirements applicable to our organisation. Delays in audit execution should be escalated to HOA, auditee management, and GIA management in a timely manner.

You will apply our methodology standards and utilise our system in all assigned activities. Evaluating quantitative and qualitative data, including data analytics, will help diagnose underlying issues, patterns, and root causes. You will monitor and track assigned audit issues and action plans, reporting overdue items to HOA for resolution.

As a subject matter expert in Third Party and ORMF, you will provide knowledge to GIA audit teams and offer continuous monitoring support to HOA. You will raise issues outside formal audits to expedite rectification of control weaknesses. Supporting the updating of risk assessments to reflect changes in risk profiles and proposing changes to the audit plan as necessary will also be part of your responsibilities.

We seek candidates with 7+ years of audit experience, preferably with Third Party risks (Outsourcing, Procurement or Third Party Risk Management) in a similar environment.
