Senior Data Analyst Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for migrating legacy code and scripts into efficient, maintainable Python code.

  • Migrating legacy code and scripts into efficient, maintainable Python code
  • Analysing existing code and scripts written in SAS/SQL languages
  • Developing Python scripts to replicate or improve existing functionality
  • Documenting code and processes clearly to support future maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues arising during migration

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Proven proficiency in Python programming & SQL
  • Good understanding of Starburst and SAS is a plus
  • Familiarity with database concepts and data manipulation
  • Ability to read and understand legacy code in SAS/SQL and translate logic into Python
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Prior experience in similar contract or project-based roles is preferred
