Job Overview

The role involves supporting a Programme Evaluation study of ComLink+ Progress Packages, a large-scale social programme aiming to help lower-income families in Singapore achieve stability, self-reliance, and social mobility.

Programme Objectives

The Research Associate/Assistant will contribute to assessing the effectiveness of the Programme in improving short-term outcomes related to education, employment, and household finances. The associate will also assess the Programme's potential impact on helping families set goals and build capabilities towards long-term outcomes of stability, self-reliance, and social mobility. Additionally, the role involves evaluating other impacts of the Programme on families' financial and consumption behaviours, social and family relations, and mental well-being.

  • Develop and implement research strategies to identify Programme causal effects using administrative data;
  • Support analysis of quantitative data and draft reports for internal and external stakeholders;
  • Liaise with vendors or research teams responsible for survey fieldwork;
  • Assist in overall study administration, including budget management and reporting to stakeholders.
