STEM Enrichment Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced STEM Enrichment Professional to join our team. As a STEM Enrichment Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging enrichment lessons to children aged 4 to 6 years old.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong educational background with teaching experience working with young children. The ability to engage and motivate children is crucial in this role. You will also be required to plan and/or translate lesson plans as needed to ensure effective delivery. In addition, you will be expected to prepare materials and resources for lessons, including hands-on activities and experiments. Your goal will be to deliver enrichment lessons effectively, promoting a love of learning and encouraging children to ask questions and think critically.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement engaging enrichment lessons that cater to the needs of children aged 4 to 6 years old.
  • Prepare materials and resources for lessons, including hands-on activities and experiments.
  • Deliver enrichment lessons effectively, promoting a love of learning and encouraging children to ask questions and think critically.
  • Participate in all required training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A relevant teaching qualification and experience working with young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • First aid certification and willingness to obtain additional qualifications as required.
