Repair and Maintenance Coordinator

This role involves coordinating the repair workflow in a workshop environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Pre-Job Planning: Developing thorough planning efforts before receiving rotating equipment, including sourcing materials, arranging necessary manpower, and coordinating site support for smooth job execution.
  • Inspection and Reporting: Ensuring inspections are conducted according to established standards, generating 'as-found' reports based on customer requirements, and creating material requisitions for parts and services needed for repairs.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Working closely with sales, tendering, engineering, and retrofit teams to prepare repair/retrofit quotations that meet customer requirements, including lead time and budget constraints.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or diploma in engineering.
  • Over 5 years of work-related experience, mainly in repairing rotating equipment.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, AutoCAD, and Engineering knowledge.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
