Job Description:

The role holder is responsible for providing IP networks integration consultancy and support to help customers maximize network availability and functionality. This involves in-depth analysis, design, deployment/integration & support and consultancy. The successful candidate will be a trusted adviser working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment as a visible contributor delivering our commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide planning, designing, assessment, implementation/integration & support services to our clients' Customers.
  • Participate in or lead coverage of medium to large Service Provider customers & driving and planning the development of the IP Core Network.
  • Support Campus, Security, Data Center networks when needed.
  • Deliver assessments of the Nokia install base with a detailed understanding of network, customers change management processes, migration processes and related dependencies.
  • Interpret client needs, assess full requirements, and identify suitable solutions.
  • Support service delivery and network solution implementation.
  • Work along with project/operations managers on engagements to ensure compliance to set processes, weekly progress and status checks, ongoing communications and meetings and drive technical leadership and solutions discussions with customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and regional teams to participate and drive proposal and Statement of Work preparation.
  • Guide customers through engagement closure using relationships and next steps.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting services for network infrastructure related incidents and problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant degree/diploma from recognized institution.
  • Professional level networking certifications or higher.
  • Deep knowledge in IP Core technologies for Service Provider Core networks (Provider & Provider Edge).
  • Rich hands-on experience in technologies such as: OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLSLabel Protocols, QoS, IPv6, L2/L3 VPNs.
  • Ability to perform highly technical L1, L2, and L3 troubleshooting to determine root cause of software or hardware failure issues.
  • Familiarity with STP, HSRP/VRRP, LISP, high availability, network/device security, QoS, IP SLA, network management.
  • Exposure to SDWA, IP RAN, Packet data roaming network, 3G/4G (LTE)/5G network architecture, SDDC would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
