Food Safety Manager

This role is pivotal for ensuring the quality and safety of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and regulations.
- Maintain and update documentation related to production, training, and safety.
- Evaluate receiving records and documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with food safety standards and relevant laws.
- Oversee retention sample arrangements, including collection, storage, and analysis by external laboratories.
- Ensure product traceability throughout the supply chain.
- Optimize production processes for minimal waste and maximum efficiency.
- Support pest control services and conduct daily inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in internal audits, customer audits, and third-party audits.
Requirements:
To excel in this position, you will need:
- A diploma in Applied Science (Nutrition and Food Science) or a related field.
- Basic food hygiene certification is an asset.
- At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
