Job Title: Facilities Management SpecialistOur ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with expertise in facilities management. Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for drafting and updating of facility engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in project management for new machine installations, building & facilities works as assigned by management from design to construction and commissioning, meeting stringent deadlines and budgetary constraints.
  • Attend all building and facilities breakdowns on mechanical/electrical equipment, plumbing, fire protection, and ensure overall upkeep of building services, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Schedule and manage outsourced facilities-related services such as cleaning, landscape, pest control, water treatment, and equipment maintenance, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Good in project management, manage and schedule preventive maintenance of equipment under the care of building and facilities, minimizing downtime and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Monitor utilities consumption and provide support to all utilities to the plant, identifying areas of improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Handle administrative duties ranging from vendor sourcing, drafting purchase requests, and budget control, ensuring seamless operations and maximum ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations (fire safety, environmental standards, OSHA, etc.), conducting regular risk assessments and implementing corrective actions for facility-related hazards.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory inspections, providing transparent and accurate records of facility operations.
  • Able to think out of the box and make innovative recommendations for cost and energy savings, driving business growth and sustainability.
  • Awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems and policy, including the implications of nonconforming to the requirements and the assessment of occupational risks and hazards.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Diploma/Degree in engineering/Facilities management related discipline.
    • 2-3 Years of Experience is preferred.
    • Fresh diploma holders with keen interest in developing themselves in the field of facilities management are welcome to apply.
    • At least 3 years of working experience in manufacturing/engineering related industries.
    • Proficient in AutoCAD.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Communication and Interpersonal skills.
    • Problem-solving and Analytical skills.
    • Planning and Organising skills.
    • Time-management and Multi-tasking skills.
    • Experience in facility maintenance, project management, or building services.
    • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and automation systems.
    • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
