Job Title: Electrical Project Coordinator 

The role of the Electrical Project Coordinator is to oversee the execution of electrical installation projects across Singapore. This involves working closely with clients, site managers, and sub-contractors to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.

Responsibilities include coordinating project requirements, arranging site works, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent communication skills, and experience in supervising electrical process and/or instrument installation work.

Key qualifications include a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field, minimum 2-4 years' experience as a Supervisor in the Oil & Petrochemical Industry, and experience in electrical process and/or instrument installation work.

Additional requirements include positive work attitude, initiative, responsibility, and willingness to learn or take up challenges in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and self-driven, with excellent English communication skills.

Desirable skills include troubleshooting, construction, assessing, wiring, shop drawing, drawing, electrical, fabrication, MS Office, petrochemical, electrical engineering, and commissioning.

 Job Description
  • Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and arrange site works with sub-contractors and workers.
  • Plan and ensure the timely completion of works safely, working closely with the site/project manager.
  • Read and interpret process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), schematic or flow logic drawings to ensure proper installation of electrical/instrument process equipment or systems.
  • Estimate materials required for site works in the installation of electrical/instrument works, equipment or systems.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks, permit to work (PTW) applications, attend site meetings, and daily progress reporting.
  • Prepare reports and documentations, produce mark out P& ID or shop drawings, and installation details for submission to clients/consultants for approval.
  • Perform other tasks as required or assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline courses.
  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience as a Supervisor in the Oil & Petrochemical Industry.
  • Experience in electrical process and/or instrument installation work.
  • Positive work attitude, initiative, responsibility, and willingness to learn or take up challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and self-driven.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
