Job Title: Science Laboratory Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Science Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Science Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and daily upkeep of science rooms, inspecting learning resources for quality and damages, labeling, sorting and storing resources by type and level for easier access, maintaining stock records and carrying out physical stock counts, monitoring stock levels and spoilages twice annually, providing logistical support to teachers by packing items requested daily and for practical assessments and major learning events, and providing support to science teachers and HOD for any other ad hoc task assigned and related matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Independent and confident
  • Preferably completed Sec 4 education
  • Relevant work experience
  • Preferably 2 years of work experience in a primary school science laboratory
  • Team player who is organized, meticulous and able to multi-task
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
