Overview

We are seeking a Senior Consultant / Manager with a focus on Financial Markets and Private Banking Transformation. This position is pivotal in leading strategic projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and fostering innovation within the financial sector. You will utilize your deep knowledge in pricing strategy consulting to provide significant solutions for private banking clientele.

Core Responsibilities

  • Engage with both internal teams and external partners to assess the current pricing framework of the private bank, pinpointing areas for improvement and tailoring solutions to meet the bank's strategic goals.
  • Perform in-depth evaluations of the private bank's pricing approaches, processes, and frameworks, identifying gaps and potential enhancements to boost revenue and profitability.
  • Offer strategic insights and expert guidance to senior leadership regarding the development of pricing strategies, structuring, and optimization efforts, employing industry best practices and innovative methodologies to achieve tangible outcomes.
  • Spearhead business development initiatives by nurturing relationships with potential clients in the private banking arena, demonstrating expertise in pricing strategy refinement and optimization.
  • Champion the creation of intellectual property (IP) by leading interdisciplinary teams in the development of cutting-edge pricing models, tools, and frameworks specifically designed for the unique requirements of private banking clients.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in pricing strategy consulting or related in-house pricing roles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of pricing methodologies applicable to various private banking service models (fee-based, commission-based, hybrid).
  • Proven experience in analyzing and optimizing fee structures to enhance revenue and profitability.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques, capable of transforming complex pricing data into clear and actionable visual insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, promoting effective collaboration across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a talent for mentoring and developing team members.
