Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring project costing, ensuring that all costs are accurately estimated and managed throughout the project lifecycle.

About the Role
  • Job Summary:
  • This is a senior role within our operations team, requiring a high level of expertise in quantity surveying and contract management. You will work closely with our project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with experience in managing complex construction projects. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients.
Responsibilities
  • Review and monitor project costing:
  • Develop and implement effective cost management strategies to ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
  • Manage and administer contracts, including preparation of contractual documentation and negotiation with contractors.
  • Manage Quantity Surveyors:
  • Supervise and mentor junior quantity surveyors to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Review Contract Documents:
  • Evaluate contract documents, including tender documents, contracts, and change orders, to ensure that they are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare Cost Estimates:
  • Develop and submit cost estimates for tenders and other business development opportunities.
