PEAK OCEAN PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Control Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance and Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surveillance Inspection: Conduct regular surveillance inspections to ensure that construction work is performed in accordance with project-specific quality requirements.
  • Inspection and Testing: Verify in-process inspection, final inspection, and welding to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Welding Control and Inspection: Conduct welding control and inspection activities to ensure that welding meets quality standards.
  • Welding Audit Report: Prepare and maintain welding audit reports during construction.
  • Record Keeping: Record results of inspections and maintain records of specific items as per contract/specifications.
  • AFI Request: Administer AFI requests to clients and third parties and coordinate inspections as identified in the respective discipline ITP.
  • Non-Conformance Reports: Raise non-conformance reports as seen during inspection and follow up on status of rework and close-out.
  • NDT Requirements: Arrange for proper NDT requirements as per specifications.
  • RT Films Interpretation: Interpret RT films pertaining to welding joints.
  • NDT Reports Review: Review all NDT reports and approval.
  • Inspection Progress Status: Establish and maintain inspection and NDT progress status on a weekly basis.
  • Weld Rejection Rate Summary: Generate weekly weld rejection rate summary and weekly welder performance.
  • Testing Activities: Witness all testing activities as required by approval inspection and test plan.
  • PWHT Activities: Monitor PWHT activities carried out as per approved procedure.
  • Quality Issues: Attend to all potential quality issues to prevent occurrence of defects.
  • Test Packs Preparation: Prepare test packs for piping hydrostatic testing.
  • Final Punch List: Prepare/compile final punch list prior to delivery of the fabricated and assembled components.
  • MDR Compilation: Follow up with other discipline HODs to get relevant documents as per MDR index for compiling.
  • MDR Records: Progressive compilation of records for MDR (final dossiers).
  • Client Review and Approval: Coordinate with clients for review and approval of the MDR.
  • Surveillance Activities: Carry out surveillance activities during project execution.
Requirements
  • Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Construction: Experience in construction.
  • Quality Control: Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
  • ISO: Familiarity with ISO standards.
  • Drawing: Ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Fabrication: Knowledge of fabrication processes.
  • Welding: Knowledge of welding processes.
  • Quality Inspection: Experience in quality inspection.
  • Surveillance: Experience in surveillance activities.
  • Piping: Knowledge of piping systems.
  • ASME: Familiarity with ASME standards.
