Job Title: Operational Excellence Lead

Role Overview

The Senior Operations Lead is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Trade Management team in Singapore. This includes leading a team of operations trade management associates, specialized in derivative trading, foreign exchange, money markets, credit and exchange traded products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support the operational functions of the Trade Management team.
  • Develop and maintain policy and procedure documents to ensure efficient trade management operations.
  • Identify and address any issues that may arise within the team's operating model.
  • Cross-train team members to eliminate single points of failure.

The Senior Operations Lead will work closely with the Front Office to drive initiatives that aid trade booking and brokerage calculation, and provide operational feedbacks and perspective with a risk and control mindset while facilitating the business from initial booking through confirmations.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in senior operations roles is essential;
  • Leadership and supervisory skills are necessary to manage a team effectively.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of wholesale financial services, operational risk, and financial regulatory landscapes. They should be skilled in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, they must demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism, and work ethically with respect for professional values.
