Customer Service Representative Job Description

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between our company and customers, coordinating with the operations team to resolve issues and achieve service level goals.

  • Receiving job orders and preparing necessary documents based on customer requirements.
  • Updating information in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Investigating and resolving customer queries and complaints, escalating issues to supervisors when necessary.
  • Managing export and import processes, including warehouse picking/packing, carrier booking, and documentation.
  • Communicating with internal teams, customers, carriers, transporters, and third-party vendors.
  • Providing timely and accurate reports to Department Heads.
  • Notifying team supervisors of discrepancies or issues.
  • Assisting superiors with special projects and providing backup support to other Customer Service teams as needed.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a positive performance record.
