Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Engineer to join our team at Tempserv Pte. Ltd. as a System Maintenance Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our IT systems to ensure they are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Maintenance: Assist in maintaining our IT systems, including servers, clients, storages, and network-related issues, ensuring they are up and running efficiently.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues associated with our IT systems, including fault troubleshooting, diagnosis, and replacement of software/equipment/modules/components.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance in accordance with maintenance instructions/procedures to prevent system downtime.
  • Corrective Maintenance: Carry out corrective maintenance in accordance with maintenance instructions/procedures, including fault troubleshooting, diagnosis, and replacement of software/equipment/modules/components.
  • Engineering Services: Provide engineering services, including engineering reports, supply support, configuration control, and management, as well as obsolescence management.
  • Technical Support: Provide solutions to technical problems associated with our IT systems, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Vendor Relations: Liaise with procurement and equipment vendors to ensure timely delivery of necessary equipment and services.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Travel: Required to travel to sites for work, as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT systems, including servers, clients, storages, and network-related issues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues associated with our IT systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
