Horticulturist Role

As a key member of our dynamic team at Nature Landscapes, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative landscape solutions and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and supervise all landscaping works within designated sites to ensure exceptional quality and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the operations manager to plan resources (workers/equipment) and optimize project outcomes.
  • Liaise with officers/management agents on work arrangement, site meetings, feedback, and other matters to maintain strong relationships.
  • Generate creative landscape solutions to enhance project outcomes and provide expert advice to clients on horticultural matters and mitigation measures.
  • Facilitate new gardener onboarding at work sites and provide guidance to gardeners on performance expectations and manage landscape challenges effectively.
  • Prepare schedules and regular site reports for assigned sites and enforce workplace safety and health regulations on site.
  • Assist with ad-hoc sales support and contribute to the success of the business through proactive and collaborative teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Landscape Design and Horticulture is essential for this role.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in horticultural and landscape maintenance is required.
  • The ability to work in diverse environments and handle ad-hoc matters beyond working hours is crucial.
  • Proficient written and communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent team player, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and proficient in using technology to drive productivity and efficiency.
