Core Banking Transformation Specialist Role

This pivotal role drives successful banking transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate serves as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring seamless delivery across all project lifecycle phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead functional analysis and solution design for core banking systems
  • Create, review, refine, and present proposals to stakeholders
  • Coordinate with vendors, technical teams, and bank stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery
  • Oversee system enhancements, integrations, and migrations execution
  • Manage requirement gathering, gap analysis, and documentation processes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance policies
  • Support SIT/UAT cycles and post-go-live stabilization efforts
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior functional analysts
  • Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams and external partners
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, or related fields
  • 5–12 years of experience in core banking transformation or functional consulting
  • Strong knowledge of platforms like Temenos, Finacle, CGI, or Flexcube
  • Proven experience in vendor management, project execution, and bank coordination
  • Familiarity with BPMN, API integrations, and system architecture principles
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience leading multi-country or regional banking projects
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management practices
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, matrixed environments
  • Certification in project management or business analysis is an asset
