Business Development Manager for Space and Satellite Market

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in the space and satellite industry. The ideal candidate will identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
Job Description
We offer a competitive remuneration package of SGD $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. If you have a strong background in business development, sales, or marketing within the space and satellite industry, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute business development strategies to expand our presence in the space and satellite market
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including satellite operators, space agencies, governments, and industry leaders
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product) to develop tailored solutions for customers
• Negotiate and close deals, ensuring revenue growth and profitability
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
Requirements:
• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• Certification in business development or sales (e.g., CBDO, CSO)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the space and satellite industry
• Strong network and connections within the industry
• Proven track record of successful business development and deal closure
• Experience working with government agencies, space agencies, or international organizations
• Familiarity with satellite communications, Earth observation, navigation, or space exploration
• In-depth knowledge of space and satellite technologies, applications, and market trends
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
