Job Description

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will play a vital role in leading the financial reporting team. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the completion and accuracy of all financial reporting while being in compliance with local tax/audit regulations. Your deliverables to the finance department will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls, accounting standards, and tax requirements
  • Reconcile discrepancies arising between the system and finance records, proactively seek solutions to identify and minimize differences
  • Perform monthly closing, including account receivable and revenue functions
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reporting packages
  • Perform monthly cash flow forecasts
  • Prepare and provide accounting schedules and GST returns
  • Support auditing and prepare Financial Statements
  • Communicate with various stakeholders for new initiatives and process improvements
  • Perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or ACCA, CA, or its equivalent
  • 2-4 years of working experience in accounting-related fields, Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred but not a must
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well with people across different cultures
  • Positive and result-driven
  • Good sense of logic and analytical thinking
  • A team player with good organizational skills
  • Solid accounting knowledge as well as local tax/audit regulations
  • Hands-on/relevant working experience in a finance operating environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and good command in English, both written and oral
  • Flexible and bright personality, open to commit in a dynamic environment
