Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Centre for Innovation in Learning as a Senior Learning Data Strategist. This is a 2-year contract position that involves working with fellow professionals to examine department and project level datasets using data analysis tools.

Responsibilities include collaborating on initiatives with the Engagement, Planning and Research team to share institute-wide knowledge and carrying out action research by conceptualising frameworks and methodologies, designing evaluation instruments, gathering and analysing data, and formulating decisions that will enhance the effectiveness of learning experiences and Capability Development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a University Degree related to Education, Learning Sciences, Business/Data Analytics, Applied Statistics and Technology or a related field, at least 2 years' experience in learning analytics or related instructional design and development experience, and good analytical skills to facilitate interpretation of data for decision-making purposes.

Additional requirements include possessing good creative thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional meticulousness in work details, and the ability to work independently and in diverse teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University Degree in Education, Learning Sciences, Business/Data Analytics, Applied Statistics and Technology or a related field.
  • At least 2 years' experience in learning analytics or related instructional design and development experience.
  • Good analytical skills to facilitate interpretation of data for decision-making purposes.
  • Good creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional meticulousness in work details.
  • Ability to work independently and in diverse teams.
