Job Role: Marine Electrical and Mechanical Systems Specialist

Job Description

We seek a highly skilled specialist to commission, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot marine electrical and mechanical equipment onboard vessels and at company premises/workshops.

The successful candidate will possess prior experience with marine boilers and related systems, as well as strong technical knowledge in marine electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Commissioning, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of marine electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Travel on short notice to vessels within the region and occasionally worldwide.
  • Ensure valid travel documentation is maintained.
  • Adhere to quality, health, safety, and environment procedures; report unsafe practices or incidents.
  • Complete and submit service certificates (time sheets) and obtain customer sign-off.
  • Prepare detailed service reports, including safety observations, spare part recommendations, and future service suggestions.
  • Proactively recommend spare parts and service solutions to customers.
  • Communicate sales opportunities to service managers.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Prior experience with marine boilers and related systems is highly preferred.

Strong technical knowledge in marine electrical and mechanical systems.

Valid travel documents and certifications for international travel.
