Grants Manager Opportunity

The Grants Management Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective administration of grants. The key responsibilities include:
• Grant Oversight and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of all grant-related decisions and submissions, track project milestones and deliverables, issue timely reminders to grantees for progress reports, final reports, quarterly claims, and audit reports.
• Financial Governance: Review and verify claims submitted by grantees, ensure all expenses are properly supported with relevant documentation, coordinate with grantees to resolve claim-related queries and obtain missing documents, process honorarium payments for peer reviewers, evaluation panel members, and grant disbursements to grantees, prepare reimbursement submissions to funders with complete supporting documentation.
• Pre-award management: Review grant proposals for completeness and compliance, assess applicant eligibility against established criteria, process and maintain essential documents including approvals, Conflict of Interest declarations and confidentiality agreements, prepare administrative documentation such as Letters of Awards (LOAs).
This position requires experience in grants management, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate should be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement, able to work independently, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
