Job Title: Anti-fraud Senior Associate, SPX Express

Shopee is seeking a highly skilled Anti-fraud Senior Associate to join our SPX Express team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in detecting and preventing fraudulent activities on our platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of fraudulent behavior.
  • Develop and implement effective metrics to detect and prevent fraud, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas of vulnerability, ensuring the integrity of our platform.
  • Communicate complex fraud patterns and detection strategies to stakeholders, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Work closely with the Risk team to reconcile Anti-Fraud tools and metrics, supporting investigations and updating findings to ensure a unified approach across regions.
  • Drive the implementation of Anti-Fraud improvement tools and features, collaborating with local and regional teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Establish trusted partnerships with business stakeholders, providing expert guidance on fraud-related matters and developing solutions to address business needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in fraud detection, risk management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Data Studio and Tableau.
  • Strong project management skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Fraud/Risk Management frameworks in a fast-paced environment is a significant advantage.
