The Hospitality Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hospitality within the hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all assigned rooms or areas are cleaned and serviced to established standards and procedures, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removal of trash.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and fresh appearance during work hours.
- Observe guest floors and rooms to perform safety procedures if necessary.
- Establish proper procedures and standards for master keys, key control, and worksheet management.
- Surrender keys and worksheets before leaving the hotel.
- Ensure trolleys are in good condition, orderly, and clean.
- Develop guidelines for greeting and conversing with guests.
- Establish procedures and standards for room cleaning, including linen and towel management.
- Standardize the setup and maintenance of baby cots or extra beds.
- Keep storerooms and pantries clean and organized.
- Report any missing guest room items promptly.
- Pack and count soiled linens and towels after each shift.
- Maintain hotel rooms and common areas to create a pleasant and harmonious atmosphere.
- Report any technical issues or maintenance needs.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
- Candidates should have experience in a relevant sector.
- Must be meticulous, attentive to details, and physically fit.
- A flexible schedule and ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays is ideal.
- Candidates with no experience but a strong interest in hospitality may also apply.
