GIC Private Limited is a leading global long-term investor, and we are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President in Asset Controllers. As a key member of our Investment Services Private Markets Department, you will play a critical role in managing our private equity, infrastructure, and Private Markets assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage deal structuring, due diligence, and closing for our private equity and infrastructure investments.
  • Provide financial operations support for our Private Markets assets, including tax structuring, corporate holding structures, valuations, and financial reporting.
  • Help to provide financial deal due diligence, financial controllership, treasury and funding, valuation management, investment operations, accounting, financial reporting, and special purpose vehicle management for our investments.
  • Develop and implement reporting processes to provide insights to internal stakeholders on the quality of our strategic partners, including outsourced administrators and fund general partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
  • Relevant professional certification, such as CA, CMA, or CFA, is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit, with a focus on asset or business analysis.
  • Experience in private fund or private credit asset class is highly desirable.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to resolve business problems with well-structured analyses.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Data-driven, experienced in deriving insights from large data sets is preferred.
  • Proactive, high-energy, motivated team player capable of delivering on multiple initiatives.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience in using technology tools for data extraction, modelling, and visualization.
