About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Data Governance Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data governance and risk management, with a proven track record of implementing successful data governance frameworks.

This role involves defining key data items based on regulatory reporting importance and requirements, developing and maintaining data flow diagrams and data dictionaries, and identifying and documenting data lineage across source systems and reporting elements.

The selected candidate will also conduct interviews and collaborate with stakeholders, perform root cause analysis of data quality issues, and recommend controls for data validation, reconciliation, and exception handling.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data governance or data management, preferably within banking or financial services
  • Strong domain knowledge in risk management and regulatory reporting
  • Proven ability to perform data analysis and understand data lineage across systems
  • Excellent logical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
