Network Architect

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced network architectures to support the organization's strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing automation and process improvements to enable efficient deployment, management, scaling, and monitoring of applications in data centers and cloud environments.
  • Providing system troubleshooting and problem-solving expertise across platform and application domains, with a focus on customer-facing issues.
  • Taking ownership of end-to-end solutions provided by teams across the organization.
  • Deploying and managing monitoring tools to ensure infrastructure performance, utilization, and health.
  • Implementing configuration management systems for business continuity management and automating disaster recovery measures.
  • Implementing security practices that comply with standards to protect the organization's data and infrastructure.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of experience in network engineering or architecture.
  • Excellent knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 addressing, VLAN, switching, and routing configurations.
  • Application performance management using load balancers, server operating systems (Windows and Linux), networking, and OSI layer protocols.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, operating, and troubleshooting networking devices and technologies (structured cabling, WAN, LAN, network security, wireless, and voice).
  • Experience with provisioning tools for network infrastructure (Ansible, Vagrant, Docker, Puppet) to manage configurations using automation.
  • Skills essential for the role include firewall/IDS/IPS rules optimization, load balancing of applications, network device configuration and hardening, NAT, DNS, DHCP, and wireless network health management.
  • Understanding of security concepts such as network access control, public key infrastructure, cybersecurity threats, and mitigations, content distribution networks.
  • Knowledge of networking technologies such as software-defined infrastructure (SD-WAN, OpenVSwitch, VXLAN, OpenFlow, OpenStack, and CloudStack), network functions virtualization, and secure access service edge.
