Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the required standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the development and implementation of our Food Safety Management System, HACCP, and Halal Quality Management System.
- Provide technical support to various departments to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal quality audits, GMP audits, supplier audits, and HACCP audits to ensure that our processes and procedures meet the required standards.
- Manage all external audits, including 3rd Party (BRC, HALAL), Customer, and Regulatory (SFA) audits.
- Lead the QA team in responding to customer inquiries and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement new product development support, including food regulatory requirements, product evaluation, and testing.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Food Science or equivalent.
- At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in the F&B manufacturing industry, with a minimum of 2 years of experience managing a team.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Proficient in English and Chinese, due to the daily need to work with English and Mandarin-speaking staff and customers' representatives.
- Able to work independently with a high level of initiative and resourcefulness.
- Fast learner and able to work under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of Food Safety Management Systems.
Estimated Salary Range:
$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
