Mechanical and Electrical Services Coordinator

Role Overview:
As a Mechanical and Electrical Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical and electrical aspects of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all M&E works are carried out efficiently and effectively, meeting project deadlines and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Work closely with the M&E Coordinator to supervise site works, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Monitor and control the progress of M&E works according to project schedules, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to mitigate delays.
- Collaborate with relevant authorities for inspections and certifications, maintaining accurate records of compliance and non-compliance.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure conformance with specified standards and requirements.
- Prepare and submit materials samples and shop drawings to consultants for approval, facilitating smooth project progression.
- Manage sub-contractors, providing guidance and oversight to ensure they meet quality and progress expectations.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to resolve queries and issues related to M&E services.
Requirements:
- Diploma in M&E Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in building projects, with a strong understanding of M&E systems and processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams effectively.
- Possession of core-trade Supervisor certification is highly desirable.
