The team emphasizes quality and continuous process improvement to facilitate growth, prioritize client needs, add value, and enhance satisfaction.

Key Functions of the Securities Team within Asia Operations Include:

  • Managing securities & derivatives settlements, securities transfers, corporate actions, and asset creation and maintenance.

Main Responsibilities as Head of Asia Corporate Actions Include:

  • Processing and controlling activities within the Securities function;
  • Ensuring efficiency and quality in client service delivery;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to provide technical expertise and timely solutions;
  • Supporting business growth through high-quality transaction processing and risk management;
  • Managing Corporate Actions processing, with an understanding of core systems and workflows;
  • Maintaining operational efficiency, excellence, and low risk levels;
  • Aligning team members with company goals and vision;
  • Serving as the primary contact for Asian clients and stakeholders on Corporate Actions queries;
  • Demonstrating market knowledge and process understanding;
  • Acting as deputy Head of Asia Securities Operations;
  • Leading projects, including migration of processes into Asia;
  • Fostering cross-border collaboration between Swiss and Singapore teams;
  • Enhancing client service standards and positively impacting client ratings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Banking/Finance;
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Actions, with at least 5 years in management;
  • Core competencies include knowledge of financial products, market infrastructure, regulations, operational risks, SWIFT messages, client service, stakeholder management, and strong communication skills.
