Physics Teacher Job Description

At our esteemed institution, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physics Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a Physics Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of secondary and pre-university students.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a dedicated individual who can design and deliver engaging Physics lessons to students following IGCSE, O-Level, A-Level, IB, or equivalent curricula.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and updating lesson plans and teaching materials in line with the curriculum, fostering an environment that promotes academic excellence.
  • A key aspect of this role is assessing and monitoring students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • You will also prepare students for school examinations, international assessments, and university entry requirements, helping them navigate the complexities of higher education.
  • The ideal candidate will participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and curriculum planning to stay abreast of best practices and contribute to the development of our educational programs.
  • It is essential to maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Education (Science), or a closely related field is essential.
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, PGCE, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Prior teaching experience in Physics, especially in international curricula (IGCSE, A-Level, IB, etc.), is highly valued.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • A passion for teaching and commitment to student development are essential qualities for this position.
