Job Overview

As a Senior Capacity Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the semiconductor industry's capacity needs with outsourcing subcontractors. Your primary responsibility will be to work under the supervision of the Capacity Planning Manager to ensure the allocation of available capacity meets dynamic demand requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive monthly strategic exercises with OSATs to align capacity and material requirements with demand forecasts.
  • Coordinate review sessions with cross-functional teams to synchronize demand and availability.
  • Collaborate with Technical and Quality teams to develop and implement new equipment ramps.
  • Work closely with OSATs to address missing capacity and/or material shortages.
  • Synchronize demand with daily operations through collaboration with Regional Operation Teams.
  • Collect market intelligence on capacity availability.

Main Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Advanced Excel, Database (MS Access), and Big Data analysis.
  • Technical expertise in Semicon Packaging & Test.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, accountable, and consistent in problem-solving.
  • Team player with good negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of numbers, attention to detail, and meticulous approach.
