Job Overview
">- You will assist the Night Manager in overseeing, supporting, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and service to meet the diverse needs of children and youth under your purview.
Your primary responsibilities include:
">- Oversight of residents' bedtime routine and morning preparations for school.
- Collection, distribution, and upkeep of proper documentation of allowance for all residents.
- Maintenance of the environment, communication with stakeholders, and adherence to Home's SOPs and licensing requirements.
- Serving as a good role model to residents and staff team.
Assist the Night Manager in planning, leading, and monitoring daily operations to meet service standards.
">- Development and implementation of Home policies and procedures.
- Administration of personnel policies in a consistent and fair manner.
- Maintenance of accurate records and updates on late returns, abscondences, and incidents.
- Care staff performance review and coaching support.
- Ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance protocols are implemented.
- Staff training needs identification and provision of opportunities for growth.
- Investigations, report preparation, and follow-through on policy violations.
Liaise with school on attendance matters and travel arrangements.
">Maintain and monitor resource materials as required by residents.
">Ensure residents have pocket money and means to travel to and from school.
">Ensure punctual departure for school, proper attire, and necessary school supplies.
">Partnership and Community Networking">Establish close working partnerships within the team and with other programs hosted at Gracehaven.
">Service Development">Advocate and represent the rights, needs, and welfare of clients through official platforms.
">Professional Development">Promote professional development through identifying learning needs and offering training opportunities.
">Administration">Manage staff-to-staff and staff-to-client relationships and mediate any issues that may arise.
">Undertake administration support such as leave approvals and performance appraisals.
">Support in-staff induction, orientation, appraisal, and training when required.
">Assist with collection, disbursement, and record keeping of pocket money matters.
">Coordinate meetings and compile reports as needed.
">In the absence of the Night Manager, assume supervision role and perform necessary duties.

- Diploma or Degree from a recognised institution.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Preferably in Social Services.
- Keen to work in children and youth sector.
