The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a highly qualified Research Fellow to contribute to the Climate Transformation Program (CTP): Cross Cutting Theme 1 – Sustainable Societies. This project aims to develop knowledge-based solutions and educate future leaders to establish a stable climate and environment for resilient, just, and sustainable Southeast Asian societies.

As part of this programme, the Research Fellow will work directly with Professor Shirley Ho, based in the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at NTU. The successful candidate will engage in conducting literature searches, manuscript preparation, and statistical analyses with survey data. They will also contribute to research publications and presentations, and write progress reports and final research reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct literature searches and manuscript preparation
  • Develop and implement a five-wave survey with the public
  • Conduct statistical analyses with survey data
  • Contribute to research publications and presentations
  • Write progress reports and final research reports
  • Disseminate research results with the support of the Principal Investigator
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with the research program
Requirements:
  • PhD degree in communication, psychology, sociology, or a social science related discipline
  • Strong foundation in survey research and analytical skills
  • Team player with ability to work independently in a multi-cultural team environment
  • Initiative and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Prior experience in survey research
  • Internationally recognized research track record
