Mechanical Equipment Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of tug equipment and machinery. This involves regular maintenance, repairs, and monitoring of fuel consumption.
- To ensure the safe and efficient operation of tug engines and deck machinery.
- To conduct routine checks on tug equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns.
- To monitor and record fuel consumption to optimize fuel efficiency.
Candidates should possess a valid Port Limit Engine Driver (2nd Class) license issued by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
- Possession of a valid Port Limit Engine Driver (2nd Class) license is essential.
- Ability to perform shift work is also required.
Successful candidates will enjoy a competitive salary package, including night shift allowance, meal allowance, and productivity incentives.
- Competitive monthly gross salary includes night shift allowance, night shift special transport allowance, and meal allowance.
- Productivity incentives are available after successful completion of the Engineering Officer (Tug) Training Program.
New hires may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to S$3,000.
- Shortlisted candidates will join as Trainee Engineering Officers and undergo the Engineering Officer (Tug) Training Program.
- Upon completion of the training program, they will take on the role of Engineering Officer (Tug).
Key skills required for this position include firefighting, fire safety, preventive maintenance, maintenance and repair, safety, marine engineering, engineering, fuel management system, towing, ship maintenance, and machinery.
Firefighting and fire safety skills are essential in this role.
