Job Title: Experienced ACMV Project Manager

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a diverse team of engineers, supervisors and sub-contractors to deliver complex air conditioning, mechanical ventilation and building management systems projects.

  • Project Leadership: The role requires strong leadership skills, including the ability to schedule, budget and manage projects to achieve set goals.
  • Team Management: Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential to lead and mentor the project team.
  • Financial Control: Strong financial management skills are required to manage project budgets and prepare payment claims.
  • Site Supervision: The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring progress on site and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaising with main contractors, consultants and client representatives is an essential part of this role.
  • Resource Planning: Forecasting and allocating resources effectively is critical to ensure the success of the project.
  • Documentation Management: Overseeing project documentation, including submissions and technical drawings, is also a key responsibility.
  • System Commissioning: Testing and commissioning ACMV systems to ensure optimal performance is a critical aspect of this role.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Industry Experience: 15 years of experience in design and installation of ACMV and BMS systems is essential.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry codes, standards and procedures is required.
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant software tools.
  • Personal Attributes: A dynamic, self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record is required.
