Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineering Lead to join our Consumer Banking Group Technology team. As a Frontend Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of frontend developers in the design, development, and deployment of high-quality mobile applications that meet the project requirements and align with the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, providing technical guidance, best practices, and ensuring the team's adherence to coding standards.
- Make architectural decisions and oversee the technical implementation of frontend solutions.
- Involved in hands-on development work, responsible for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Work closely with designers and backend developers to implement user interfaces and ensure seamless integration with backend systems.
- Ensure the quality of the frontend codebase through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest frontend development trends, frameworks, and tools, and identify opportunities to enhance the team's productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in mobile app development, including proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or Objective-C, depending on the platform.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and SCRUM.
- Self-motivated and have a demonstrated track record of self-learning and going above and beyond.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential. Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with Git and source control concepts such as merge, rebase, and pull.
- A mindset of continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with the latest frontend development trends, tools, and best practices.
