  • Maintain Laboratory Records: Learn how to document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.
  • Operate Laboratory Equipment: Learn how to use laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasks.
  • Perform Quality Control: Learn to carry out testing on all aspects of work and calibration of equipment in the respective section when necessary.
  • Identify Abnormalities: Learn to highlight abnormalities and discrepancies in the testing, calibration, and results.
  • Support Quality Officer: Learn to perform the duties of a Quality Officer for the section.
  • Participate in Meetings: Attend and participate in project meetings.
  • Peer Review Data: Learn to perform peer review of data.
  • Highlight Discrepancies: Learn to highlight abnormalities and discrepancies in the testing, calibration, and results.

  • General Laboratory Work: General laboratory work like sample receipt and registration, preparation of sample bottles and helping to maintain cleanliness of laboratory, equipment, and apparatus.
  • Maintain Laboratory Environment: Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
  • Conduct Activities Safely: Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Support Laboratory Manager: Assist the Laboratory Manager/Senior Chemist in all aspects of work in the respective section.
  • Demonstrate Company Vision: Demonstrate and promotes the company vision.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent
  • Interpersonal Skills: Interacts with operational personnel, scientific personnel, and department management.
  • Work Environment: May work with potentially hazardous materials.
  • Work Schedule: Overtime and weekend work as required.
  • Physical Demands: Work requires some standing and sitting for long periods of time, including working within a laboratory hood and standing at a bench top.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Work requires use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
  • Entry Level Welcome: Entry level are welcome
