About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Support Specialist to join our team at Globe. As a key member of our Network Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate Business Directives into Detailed Project Plans: Work closely with department heads to translate business directives into detailed project plans that align with our company's goals and objectives.

  • Provide L2 Case Handling Support: Deliver level 2 case handling support to customers via phone and ticket management systems, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.

  • Conduct Case Isolation and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough case isolation and troubleshooting using various tools, including Discovery/Actix One, U2020, ICD, MyCOM, PGW, SEQ, Acision, Radcom/Qtrace, APMS, SDWAN, and VSD.

  • Recommend Prioritization of Trouble and Performance Tickets: Analyze and recommend prioritization of trouble and performance tickets escalated by customers, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Network Operations, Technical Support, Systems Engineering, or Systems administration, or equivalent.

  • IT/Telco Industry Experience: Have experience in the IT/Telco industry, with knowledge of legacy technologies such as PSTN, ISDN, ATMs, and SDH.

  • Strong Fundamental Knowledge: Possess strong fundamental knowledge of basic communication and data transmission concepts.

  • Awareness of Advanced Technologies: Be aware of advanced technologies in the field of transmission and communication, including DWDM, RODM, Ethernet, SDWAN, and Cloud.

  • Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in NOC Environment: Have experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.

  • CCNA/HCNA Background: Possess a CCNA/HCNA background.
