Fire Rescue Specialist

A Fire Rescue Specialist is a highly skilled professional responsible for safeguarding lives and property in emergency situations. This role requires a unique blend of firefighting, rescue, and medical skills to respond to fires, medical emergencies, and other rescue missions.

The hands-on training will comprise 80% of the course, allowing trainees to gain practical experience in real-world scenarios. The remaining 20% will consist of off-the-job training on campus, providing theoretical knowledge and enhancing skill development.

As a Fire Rescue Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to making a significant impact in your community. You will work closely with colleagues to deploy firefighting techniques, conduct rescue operations, and provide medical assistance to those in need.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy firefighting techniques to respond to fires and other emergencies
  • Conduct rescue operations to save lives and property
  • Provide medical assistance to individuals in need

Requirements:

  • NITEC Certification with a minimum GPA score of 2.0; or any Higher NITEC Certification
  • Class 3 driving license (for candidates with partial colour blindness)
  • PES B2 and above (for male applicants)
  • Minimum pass standard for IPPT
  • 5-year Minimum Term of Engagement (MTE) bond (for Pre-enlistees)
